Time's up

Now my christmas celebration is about to come to an end. The annual NewYearsFestival is just around the corner. Really look forward to it; something like 260 youth from all over Norway get together to celebrate the life Jesus give. Check out www.velvet.no for updates and info.

Christmas in Skien really have been relaxing. Meeting some friends, went to see King Kong at the cinema (recommend that movie), eating, sleeping, reading (the Bible and the 24/7 prayer book). I got some really great presents for christmas: dvd's and books +++. U2 live from Chicago is a amazing concert, just incredible! I get more and more affected and impressed everytime I see it! "John Legend live" is a DVD full of soul with great guest performanceses by KanyeWest and SnoopDog. Spending time with the family is always good.

I wish you a great christmas celebration in the days to come. I leave for Bergen tomorrow morning.

See ya

Some things never change

Today we went to visit my grandparents in Kongsberg. Kongsberg is a beautiful city and today it was a great christmas motion as we drove over the river through the city. At my grandparents house everything was the same, my grandfather served coce, hot dogs, potatochips, chocolate and loads of funny comments. Just like it was last time I visited them. I relly enjoy talking to them about politics, family, the weather (swedish telly) and whatever hit our mind as we sit there. It's a place of total relaxing. In a world of constant change I'm glad theres still is a place were things just stay the same.

Home for christmas

Now I'm home in Skien to celebrate christmas with my parents, sister and her husband. It will be a nice and relaxing celebration. When my plane arrived Skien I was met with fresh cold air and a landscape covered with snow. It was beautiful! I enjoy theese days with good food, time to sleep, read and study. It's also great to catch up with old friends. The only thing missing is my dear Eva. Guess that's life!

I'll bring you more reports from the Pettersen's christmas as the holidays move on.

Tonight were decorationg our christmas three=)

Life is for living

I would rather throw in my lot with a bunch of crazy lovers of Jesus whose hearts have been awakened and who are building churches that make diciples who love Jesus - than hang back and be safe. As they say, those who hope, lead!

I just started to read the "Red moon rising - How 24-7 prayer is awakening a generation". Really cool! Really inspiring!
